Everyone knows that times are hard. There are hardly any jobs, and hardly any space in our budgets to spend extra money. The unemployment rate is still high and gas prices are beginning to rise.
With all of this money tension, everyone should become aware of safety. Barely anyone carries cash anymore, but people are watching you to see when you are. It is a scary thought of being robbed, but with how times are right now, it is completely possible. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect what is rightfully theirs. We all work hard for our money and we all have bills to pay. Don't become a victim of robbery. Carry some kind of defense like pepper spray or a small air horn. It is better to be safe than sorry.
God forbid you are in the situation where you get approached by a desperate person and they want to rob you; you will have a method to protect yourself. Something such as pepper spray can provide you with a way to escape. You will disorient the person and give you a minute or two to get away. However, if your escape plan fails you, never fight with your attacker; just give up the goods. It isn't worth losing your life over a couple bucks. Money isn't everything, and you can always call your bank to cancel credit cards. We all could use peace of mind and feel a bit safer when we are alone. So have a plan and carry a defense item.
